Auto Repair in Navy Yard City, WA — B&B Auto Repair

Navy Yard City is a small waterfront community sitting directly adjacent to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton — a neighborhood with deep roots in the naval and maritime economy of Kitsap County. Residents of Navy Yard City are B&B Auto Repair’s neighbors in the most literal sense: our shop at 299 South National Avenue is just minutes away, making us the closest full-service auto repair option for the community. We’ve served Navy Yard City residents and PSNS workers for decades with the same honest, ASE Certified service we bring to every customer. Call or text (360) 377-0682 to schedule.

Navy Yard City’s residents include a mix of active duty personnel, PSNS civilian workers, veterans, and longtime Bremerton-area families who have lived in this community for generations. Vehicles here tend to work hard — shift work at the shipyard means vehicles start early and run late, and the proximity to Puget Sound means salt-air exposure is a real factor in long-term vehicle maintenance. Our technicians are experienced with the wear patterns that Pacific Northwest salt air creates on brake lines, exhaust systems, and undercarriage components, and we inspect accordingly.

Auto Repair Services for Navy Yard City Residents

• Engine Diagnostics & Check Engine Light — Fast, accurate diagnostics from ASE Certified technicians who give you a straight answer about what needs fixing. No upselling, no manufactured urgency.
• Oil Changes & Preventive Maintenance — Regular maintenance keeps shift-work vehicles running reliably. We handle the full scope of manufacturer-scheduled service.
• Brake Service & Repair — Salt air from Puget Sound accelerates corrosion on brake components. We inspect the complete braking system — lines, calipers, rotors, and pads — not just the most visible parts.
• Transmission Service — Fluid changes and diagnostics for automatic and manual transmissions. Vehicles that work hard deserve transmission service that keeps up with the demand.
• Cooling System Service — Radiator, coolant, thermostat, and water pump service to prevent the kind of overheating failure that sideelines a vehicle — and its owner — at the worst possible moment.
• Suspension & Steering — Shocks, struts, alignment, and steering inspection for vehicles navigating Bremerton’s hills and waterfront neighborhoods daily.
• Undercarriage & Corrosion Inspection — A specific service for waterfront community vehicles. We check brake lines, fuel lines, and structural undercarriage components for salt-air corrosion that develops silently over time.
• 4×4 & AWD Service — Transfer case and differential service for trucks and SUVs used in work and outdoor recreation throughout Kitsap County.
• Battery & Electrical — Battery testing and replacement, alternator and starter diagnosis for vehicles that need to start reliably on every shift, every day.
